At Diane L. Green Photography LLC we understand the needs of both the student and the parents in capturing the right style and personality for senior pictures. Mom and Dad my be looking for the cap and gown shot while grandparents desire a classic senior pose and the student wants a contemporary pose or selection of poses to share among friends. Because we are a full service digital studio you are not limited to 1 or 2 repetitive poses. We also understand the timing of when pictures must be sent in for school year books which never coincide with the distribution of cap and gown. To that end our senior photo packages consist of a flexible shooting schedule throughout the year. Come in now and sign up for your senior photo package, your studio shots can be taken at any time of year. Then in the summer we schedule outdoor local location shots for that natural setting and casual creative look. Finally during the week or so you have your cap and gown contact us for your final graduation shot.

l Studio sitting. Bring a set of dress clothes, casual clothes and sports or creative attire. Bring along your awards, musical instrument or any other items you wish to be photographed with.

l Cap and Gown studio sitting. When your receive your cap and gown come back to the studio. Your Cap and Gown photo is included in the package.

l Photo CD with reproduction rights. You receive a Photo CD with all of the pictures taken during your sittings, with personal reproduction rights. Now Email or print additional copies at home.

l Online proofs. Your senior proofs are available online to share with your whole family, even those out of town or out of the country. Your proof gallery is password protected so you choose who can view them.

l Take home a complete set of proofs in a beautiful, hardcover, coffee table style proof book for as little as $125.00. Additional copies as low as $35.00 each.

l Your Yearbook photo will be delivered from our office to your yearbook staff. No need to fuss about their requests to you to supply electronic files at certain resolutions, etc.. We handle this for you.

l Your photo data is protected against loss. We store your photo data in twin locations so that in the event your CD is lost or damaged you may obtain another for the current duplication price. Currently the duplication price is $19.95 per CD.

2010 studio Model Search

We may be looking for YOU!

Diane L. Green Photography LLC announces our 2010 high school model search. Each year our studio selects a group of high school seniors to represent our studio in advertising for the following year from those students contracting for Senior photos with our studio. For our 2010 model search seniors from a variety of schools will be chosen. Those students chosen will have the opportunity for multiple location sittings including, Dow Gardens, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island and the Lake Michigan shore line. Additionally one young man and one young woman will be selected for a high fashion session in Chicago. Those students chosen will pay no additional location fees above the the listed price of our Senior Total Photo package at the time of enrollment. Parental consent is mandatory to participate in this program. Those students chosen as models from their respective schools will also have the opportunity to become studio ambassadors to their schools. Copy and print the form below. Fill the form in completely and mail in along with one head and shoulders snap shot and one full length snap shot (snap shots will not be returned). Models will be selected from a broad cross section of high school styles. You must be a Junior at the start of the 2008-2009 school year to be considered. Deadline for all applications is Mid-night January 15th, 2009. Those students chosen will be notified by January 30th, 2009.

Swartz Creek Seniors Take Full Advantage of Michigan's Natural Backdrops.

It's summer and that means it's time for senior photos before school starts. While many seniors will have studio settings some of Swartz Creek's senior class is taking full advantage of Michigan's outdoor scenes. This last weekend four of Swartz Creek's seniors headed up I-75 to Mackinaw City for evening photos at the straights with the Mackinac Bridge, which turns 50 this year in the background. Water, stone, bridge and light houses add a unique flare for photo backgrounds in the straights as do the locations on Mackinac Island. Finishing their evening shots and after a nights rest the four headed for Mackinac Island by ferry where poses combined with a collection of natural wonders like Arch Rock and shoreline, historical areas like the fort and a wide variety of vistas from the marina to the downtown section. More than just senior photos this trip was a kind of mini-vacation for the four teens, all friends at Swartz Creek High School. A little shopping, a little nosh and a little fudge and a lot of fun combined to make these teen's senior pictures much more than just photos to choose for the yearbook. The opportunity to travel together and even appear in the background of one of your best friends photos combines to make memories for a lifetime. While the main reason is being photographed individually for senior pictures several shots always work there way in where the group poses together. The idea of group photography for seniors is the idea of local photographer Diane Green. When possible we try to get whole families together for the on site locations and slip in some family photos. This seems to work best at Frankenmuth where after the senior photo session the family goes on to enjoy chicken dinner. Senior Portrait Appointments Filling Fast.

Diane L. Green Photography LLC in Swartz Creek is well into the Senior portrait season. "While we still have appointments open our schedule has been filling fast, especially these last two weeks." says Diane owner of the photography studio. " While we do studio portraits our most popular packages are a combination of studio and on location at Frankenmuth, Dow Gardens or Mackinaw Island where we can capture the nature of our seniors with stunning backdrops. By far Frankenmuth is one of our most popular location spots. We mostly schedule Frankenmuth on Sundays and encourage the whole family to come along. Frankenmuth is a great location, when the whole family is along we regularly slip a setting or two of a family portrait into the senior package at no additional charge and most of our families finish their day with chicken dinner. Its just a nice outing for the whole family while the senior gets their photos done." When asked if there are any suggestions to parents of seniors looking for portraits Diane had this to say, " The number one thing I advise is call and set an appointment early. Waiting until the last minute before school starts may leave you without the photographer you want or without an appointment at all. Number two is ask questions. How long is your sitting time? How many photos will be taken to choose from? Is their an additional charge for clothing changes, props, etc.? Can I view my proofs online? Can I get printed copies of my proofs to take home? Is there an additional charge for edging, effects and names on wallets? Can my seniors name be added in their own handwriting? Bring along samples of other photos you've seen and like, ask if you can have a similar photo. Be sure to ask what the total billing will be for the sittings, proofs, photo prints and extra fees if any. Have an idea of how many photos you will need for wallets, announcements, enlargements for family. Ask if your photographer can make postcard or note card announcements for your open house. Can you get a CD or DVD of all of the photos with the reproduction rights to print your own photos?" Diane L.
